こうもりは、中国文化において非常に縁起の良い存在とされています。中国語で「蝙蝠（biānfú）」という言葉の発音が「幸福（xìngfú）」に通じることから、古くから幸運や幸福の象徴として親しまれてきました。

In Chinese culture, bats are considered a very auspicious symbol. The Chinese word for “bat” (蝙蝠, biānfú) has a similar pronunciation to the word for “happiness” (幸福, xìngfú), and for centuries, bats have been cherished as a symbol of good luck and happiness.
