くるくるリボンスティックとは？ / What is a Kurukuru Ribbon Stick?

くるくる回すだけで形が変わる不思議なおもちゃ!
このおもちゃは、梅本春枝さんのアイデアから生まれました。
そして、弊社取扱いのフローラサテンリボンを使って作ってくれたのが“人人(ニンジン)さん”
A magical toy that changes shape just by spinning it! This toy was born from an idea by Harue Umemoto. And it was created using our Flora Satin Ribbon by Ninjin-san.

今回は“人人(ニンジン)さん”に作り方を教えていただき、その様子を動画にしました!
This time, Ninjin-san kindly taught us how to make it, and we captured the process in a video!

［作り方の手順］Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ 前準備 / Preparation

• 台紙の四隅をテーブルに固定します。
  Fix the four corners of the template to the table.
• 8個の丸シールのうち、7個に穴を開けておきます。
  Punch holes in 7 out of the 8 round stickers.

• フローラサテンの23cmの位置に鉛筆で印をつけ、その印を目安にリボンスリッターで4mm幅にカットします。
  さらに、印の位置ではさみでカットします。（ピンク・イエロー）
  Mark the 23cm position on the Flora-Satin ribbon with a pencil. Using the mark as a guide, cut it into 4mm widths with the ribbon slitter. Then, cut at the marked position with scissors. (Pink & Yellow)

［リボンスリッターの使い方］How to Use a Ribbon Slitter

このリボンスリッターを使えば、フローラサテンリボンを2mm幅と4mm幅にカットできます。
With this ribbon slitter, you can cut Flora-Satin ribbon into 2mm and 4mm widths.

1. スリッターでリボンを挟みます。
Place the ribbon into the slitter.
2. スリッターの隙間からリボンが見えるので、位置を合わせます。
Adjust the position so that the ribbon is visible through the slit in the slitter.
3. カチッと音がするまで押し込みます。
Push it in until you hear a “click” sound.
4. 一気に引き抜きます。
Pull it out in one quick motion.

2️⃣ リボンボール（大）の作成 / Making the Large Ribbon Ball

1. 台紙の中央に丸めたマスキングテープを貼ります。（弱粘着タイプ）
Attach a rolled-up piece of masking tape (low-adhesive type) to the center of the template.
2. 穴の空いた丸シールを接着面を上にして貼ります。（強粘着タイプ）
Place the round sticker with a hole in it on top, with the adhesive side facing up (strong-adhesive type).

3. リボンのカールが上向きになるように、ガイドラインに沿って交互に貼ります。
（イエロー6本・ピンク6本）
Attach the ribbons alternately along the guidelines, ensuring that the curls face upward. (6 yellow ribbons, 6 pink ribbons)
4. 穴の空いた丸シールを上から貼ります。（接着面は下）
Place the punched circular stickers on top. (Adhesive side facing down)

5.  丸めたマスキングテープを丸シールの上に貼ります。
Stick the rolled masking tape on top of the circular sticker.
6.  穴の空いた丸シールを接着面を上にして貼ります。
Attach the punched circular sticker with the adhesive side facing up.

7.  リボンの端と端を重なるように貼ります。
Attach the ends of the ribbon so that they overlap.
8.  穴の空いていない丸シールを上から貼ります。
Place the circular sticker without a hole on top.

9.  マスキングテープを慎重にはずし、丸シールが剥がれないように指で押さえます。
Carefully remove the masking tape and press the circular sticker with your fingers to prevent it from peeling off.

10.  リボンボール（大）完成！ Ribbon Ball (Large) Complete!

3️⃣ リボンボール（小）の作成 / Making the Small Ribbon Ball 

1.  外側の大きいリボンボールとは雰囲気を変えて、5mm幅のイリデッセントカーリングリボンで作ります。
This will be made using 5mm wide iridescent curling ribbon for a different look.
2.  カーリングリボンを10cmにカット。（イエロー6本・ピンク6本）
Cut the curling ribbon into 10cm pieces (6 yellow, 6 pink)

3.  リボンボール（大）と同じ手順で作成。
Create it using the same steps as the large ribbon ball.

4.  リボンボール（小）完成！ Small ribbon ball completed!

4️⃣ リボンスティックの組み立て / Assembling the Ribbon Stick

1.  リボンボール（小）をリボンボール（大）の中に入れます。
Place the small ribbon ball inside the large ribbon ball.
2.  穴の空いていない丸シールが上に来るように配置。
Position it so that the round sticker without a hole is on top.

3. 竹串の尖った方を下から通します。（千枚通しで先に少し穴を開けておくと安心）
Insert the pointed end of the bamboo skewer from the bottom. (It’s safer to make a small hole in advance with an awl.)

4. 小瓶に差し、竹串の先端に接着剤をつけます。
Insert it into the small bottle and apply glue to the tip of the bamboo skewer.

5. 上からビーズを回しながら入れ、丸シールと接着。
Thread the beads from the top while rotating them, then secure them with a round sticker.
6.  乾くまでクリップで留めて約30分待ちます。
Clip it in place and wait for about 30 minutes until it dries.

7.（30分後）乾いたらクリップを外し、持ち手をマスキングテープでコーティング。
(After 30 minutes) Once dry, remove the clips and coat the handle with masking tape.

8. 完成！ Finished!

5️⃣ リボンの組み合わせ例 / Ribbon Combination Examples

動画では2色、4mm幅12本で作りましたが、2mm幅で本数を増やしても作れるので、ぜひ挑戦してみてくださいね!
In the video, we used two colors with 12 pieces of 4mm-wide ribbon; however, you can also create it by increasing the number of ribbons using a 2mm width. Feel free to give it a try!
